How To Register?

In order to complete your registeration for the upcoming tournaments, please follow the below steps:

Step 1 – Before you can create your own profile in the system, you will have to login into the system by using your Google Account, Facebook Account or Microsoft Account to complete the authentication process. When you select the authentication method, you will be faced with a permission dialog for the “Gaming For A Cause” application. You will need to approve this permission request before you can continue. This permission dialog will not appear again in your next logins.
Step 2 – After you complete the authentication, you will need to create your profile by filling your Email Address, First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Gamer Tag and favorite FIFA team that you want to play with during the tournament. You can update later all of your profile fields except the email address which will also correspond to your unique username in the system. Your Gamer Tag will be used as your identifier while sharing the match results with the public from the official website of the event. You can also change the team that you will play with during the tournament anytime until the tournament starts. During the tournament, you will not be allowed to change your team once again until the end of the tournament.
Step 3 – The next step is to find out the tournaments that you could register for. You will need to navigate to the “Tournament Registrations” tab of the web application to see the list of the upcoming tournaments that are eligible for registration. You will need to select the tournaments that you would like to participate and add them to your basket. You can review the tournaments in your basket and delete them if necessary. Before you go to the final step, you will have to click the checkbox to specify that you are accepting all of the Tournament Rules that are explained in the provided link.
Step 4 – The participation for the tournaments are absolutely FREE but you will need to pay for your deposit fee to register. This deposit fee will be returned back to you when you show up in the registered tournament. So the last step to complete your registration is to make this temporary payment via PayPal site. When you click the “Check Out With PayPal” button, you will be redirected to the PayPal site and you will see the total deposit fee amount calculated based on the selected tournaments. It is advised that you logon with your PayPal account to select the desired payment method option although it is not compulsory to have a PayPal account. After you complete the payment method selection in PayPal site, you will be redirected to the Gaming For A Cause site to review the tournaments that you are registering for one last time. After you hit the “Complete Registration” button, the deposit fee will be deducted and your registration will be completed. You should receive an email that confirms your registration and you will be able to see these tournaments in your “Registered Tournaments” list. You will need to show up in the tournament to receive the deposit fee back.
